Scientists are particularly interested in Saturn's moon Titan because it's one of the few known moons with its own dense atmosphere. Titan's atmosphere is also thought to be very similar to what Earth's atmosphere was a long time ago. By learning about Titan, we'll learn about our own planet.

Shuttle's landing hopes turn to California and New Mexico

Bad weather in Florida continues to delay the landing of Shuttle Atlantis, originally scheduled for Sunday. Mission controllers are now looking to Edwards Air Force Base in California or White Sands Space Harbor in New Mexico for an opportunity to land. Follow the latest developments on the NASA TV web site of one of its mirror sites. During its mission, the crew of Atlantis successfully installed the Destiny laboratory module on the International Space Station.
