Stay in Circulation

Prepare for Stay in Circulation Week 2007

The third week in September is Stay in Circulation week. This year, mark your calendars for September 17-21.

Let’s get involved! You can make a difference by planning Stay in Circulation Week activities in your community. The campaign aims to reach Americans over age 50 with the message that peripheral arterial disease (P.A.D.) is a serious but treatable disease.

Use the materials featured here for ideas, tools, and resources to plan and implement local Stay in Circulation Week activities, and then maintain momentum by adapting the components for use throughout the year.

Visit the P.A.D. Web site for more information at http://www.aboutpad.org.
Your efforts bring the campaign to life nationwide!

Get Started with the Community Action Tool Kit

Stay in Circulation: Facts about Peripheral Arterial Disease (P.A.D.) Use the Community Action Tool Kit for implementing P.A.D. screening and awareness activities this September and beyond. Here are some highlights from the tool kit:

Conduct a P.A.D. presentation in your community with this PowerPoint http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/public/heart/pad/docs/
pad_presentation.ppt
.

Also don’t miss the Purple Foot Step Floor Decal at http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/health/public/heart/pad/docs/

.
Great for calling attention to and raising awareness about P.A.D.!
