For the FY 2005 grant cycle, the Public Telecommunications Facilities Program (PTFP) received 240 radio, television, and nonbroadcast applications which requests approximately $48.9 million in federal funds.

The 240 applications received by PTFP are listed on this Web site. The narratives were taken from Question No. 18 on the application form (Summary of Application), in which the applicant was asked to summarize the purpose and objectives of its application.

Identification of any application only indicates its receipt and does not indicate that an application has been accepted for review, has been determined to be eligible for funding, or that it will receive an award. PTFP awards for all applications received by the March 1, 2005, deadline will be announced in September.

Any interested party may file comments with PTFP supporting or opposing an application and setting forth the grounds for support or opposition. PTFP will forward a copy of any opposing comments to the applicant.

PTFP will incorporate all comments from the public and any replies from the applicant in the applicant's official file.
