Life Lessons the Golden Goal of Salvadoran Soccer Clinics NEW
Over the course of the six days that Sports Envoys Cindy Parlow Cone and Jeff Pill spent in El Salvador, they involved over 700 Salvadoran children in clinics throughout the country. Alongside the soccer instruction was a focus on how hard work and healthy lifestyle choices can lead to great accomplishments.

Envoys Score with Moroccan Youth
American soccer star, Lorrie Fair, and renowned coach, Jay Miller, led four days of soccer clinics for 60 girls and boys from March 31 to April 4, 2008, in Bouznika, Morocco. Organized under the auspices of the U.S. State Department's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs' (ECA) SportsUnited Program, the program focused on participants aged 14 to 17 from widespread locations, including Taroudant, Khenifra, Ouarzazate, Oujda, Zagora and Meknes. Soccer Sports Envoys visit the Philippines
U.S. Ambassador Kristie A. Kenney’s ceremony on May 21, 2007 kicked off a week of soccer clinics, as two American soccer Sports Envoys, Olympic and World Cup gold medallist Tiffany Roberts and World Cup gold medallist Linda Hamilton, conducted drills in Manila, Iloilo, and Bacolod. Ambassador Kenney handed over the first soccer ball to the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) to officially begin the clinic. In a partnership between the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and U.S. Soccer, the Sports Envoys traveled to Philippines for the sports initiative and donated all of the soccer balls used during the clinics to the PFF for distribution to youth programs throughout the country. Unifying
the World Through Sports, The World Cup Sports Initiative
As part of ECA’s World Cup Sports Initiative, U.S. Soccer National Team players and coaches conducted soccer clinics, visited schools and spoke to an estimated 4000 youths in South Africa, Bahrain, Uganda and Nigeria, September 13 – October 13, 2006.
