Is is still true that there is no evidence (fossils, etc.) of any type of life (possibly bacteria) ever existing on Mars?
You are correct, we have no compelling scientific evidence of life beyond Earth. Most astrobiology investigations of other worlds are focusing on habitability -- the ability to support life -- rather than searching for life itself. David Morrison
