Team Conservation Tillage -- partners from NRCS, Auburn University, University of Georgia, the Georgia Conservation Tillage Alliance, and other Federal agencies -- recently shared their talents, abilities, and passion for conservation tillage by setting-up a tent with exhibits and interactive activities at the Sunbelt Ag Exposition in Moultrie, Georgia.

The exposition, that attracts some 200,000 or so visitors each year, provided a fertile setting for participants to learn about conservation tillage. There were pots of cover crops, simulated fields that

demonstrated various percentages of cover, and a bin of soil outfitted with a special camera in a tube allowing exposition-goers to see the organisms that live under ground. Outside the tent was conservation tillage equipment and a simulated irrigation system.
