Acquisitions greater than $100,000 are synopsized in the Federal Business Opportunities (www.fedbizopps.gov) The acquisitions most often entered into are construction, service and supply activities. Construction work may be either for constructing new facilities, repair of existing facilities,or a combination of both. Examples of service contracts commonly entered into are architectural and engineering, equipment maintenance or other professional services. Supply contracts often include transformers, generators and other powerplant related equipment.
