Scientists are particularly interested in Saturn's moon Titan because it's one of the few known moons with its own dense atmosphere. Titan's atmosphere is also thought to be very similar to what Earth's atmosphere was a long time ago. By learning about Titan, we'll learn about our own planet.

China's Second Space Flight

The following is a statement from NASA Administrator Michael Griffin about China's second successful human space flight launch.

"China, once again, has demonstrated that it is among the elite number of countries capable of human space flight. We wish them well on their mission, and we look forward to the safe return of their astronauts."

Human missions in space open up the possibility for conducting many experiments important to astrobiology. Simply by traveling and living in space, humans can tell us a great deal about the potential future for Earth-life life beyond our planet.
