Certification on Form 41, Schedule B-1.1 Balance Sheet

This Accounting and Reporting Directives is applicable to those carriers in the reporting group "Group I Air Carriers, Under $20 Million," who are filing their financial schedules on ADP media.

Many carriers in this group are not filing a certification statement with their Form 41 report.  The software package provided to carriers has the capability to print Schedule B-1.1 which has the certification statement at the bottom of the Schedule. This statement reads as follows:

I, the undersigned, (Title)_________________ of the above-named air carrier certify that the above report and the attached Financial Schedules and Statements of Operations and Traffic and Capacity Statistics have been examined by me and to the best of my knowledge and belief are true, correct and complete reports for the period stated. Date:_______________________Signature:___________________

14 C.F.R. Part 241.23 Schedule b-1.1(1) states that the certification statement shall be signed by the carrier's chief accounting officer.

Carriers filing their financial schedules on ADP media must file the Schedule B-1.1 produced from the software package with the certification statement completed. Reports without such a statement are incomplete and will not be considered received until the certification is filed.
