DOW Delivers on Habitat Stamp Promise
Funding from the Habitat Stamp Program has allowed the Division of Wildlife to secure more than 35,000 acres of critical habitat that will permanently benefit wildlife. Some of the properties also provide additional access for hunters, anglers and for wildlife viewing.

By working cooperatively with various government agencies, land trusts, conservation organizations and private landowners, the DOW has significantly expanded the financial base for habitat conservation in Colorado.

The Habitat Stamp Program is working. Watch a video showing some of the program’s accomplishments. Maintaining this program will guarantee the continued protection of one of Colorado’s most important natural resources.
