Yoram Kaufman (Code 913) and Mian Chin (Code 916) chair the Climate Change Science Program (CCSP) Working Groups on "Aerosols Properties and Their Impacts on Climate." The working group, formed in response to the request of Phil DeCola at NASA HQ will summarize the state of the art in regard to: "A review of measurement based evaluations of aerosol radiative forcing, and estimates of aerosol source strengths using analysis of satellite data.
