radar estimated precipitation overlayed with radar data

RADAR ESTIMATED HOURLY RAINFALL

This precipitation data is estimated from the Medford radar located on Mt. Ashland. This data may be used e.g. for fire planning and strategic support. It can be overlayed with lighning data to assist in allocating resources to locate possible fire starts. This data is an estimation based upon radar returns and is most reliable when compared to ground reports.
