Posters will be displayed in two open sessions from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. The posters will be grouped and numbered according to area of research. Presenters are asked to be at their posters between 11:00am and 1:00 p.m. to meet and discuss their research with judges, their peers, and special guests.

On the day your poster is scheduled for presentation (either Wednesday or Thursday) your poster should be up by 10:00am. If you are presenting your poster on Wednesday, May 14th, your poster should be removed between 2:30pm and 3:30pm. Commercial Science and Technology Expo

For the eighteenth consecutive year, the Biomedical Research Equipment and Supplies Exhibit sponsored by the Technical Sales Association will be hosted at NCI-Frederick and Ft. Detrick.

To register for the Commercial Science and Technology Expo, go to: www.gtpmgt.com

The Exhibit affords research professionals from Ft. Detrick, NCI-Frederick and area scientific communities a convenient opportunity to view a broad selection of the most advanced equipment, instruments, and services technology has to offer presented by major national and regional vendors. The exhibit is an on-site, casual forum that offers a hands-on update to researchers who otherwise might not have the opportunity to learn about new product developments as they emerge from the research lab to the marketplace. More than 200 exhibit booths will display state-of-the-art equipment designed to facilitate biomedical research including DNA synthesis, genetic engineering, electrophoresis, cell culture, chromatography, and much more.

Representatives from exhibiting firms will be at their booths to demonstrate equipment and answer questions about the use of their products in the research lab. The commercial exhibit hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday and 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.

The Technical Sales Association is a nationwide, member-led organization based in the greater Washington DC area. Members are manufacturers and distributors who supply products and services to the biomedical research/biotech industries. Over the years, the Technical Sales Association has donated more than $45,000.00 from the exhibit proceeds to Ft. Detrick's Morale, Welfare, and Recreation fund in appreciation of the installation's support of this event. Since 1999, the Technical Sales Association has supported the awards for the best scientific posters presented at the Research Festival.
