Stock futures drop on AIG jitters, Dell comments- Reuters

Stock index futures extended losses on Tuesday as investors worried whether insurer American International Group would be able to secure fresh capital after credit agency downgrades. In addition, Dell Inc said the computer maker was seeing further softening in global demand for technology, which also soured tone a day after Wall Street suffered its worst day since markets reopened after the September 11, 2001 attacks.
