The NRCS Northwest Alabama RC&D Council recently partnered with magician-comedian and Rockin’ Eco-Hero Steve Trash to bring the message of re-cycling and conservation to school kids in Marion and Winston counties, Alabama. Through humor and fun, Steve’s Trash and Recycle Show explains to youngsters why to reduce, reuse, and recycle is a good idea; why trash is a natural resource; what’s recyclable; and how recycling can be fun.  Team work and cooperation by project partners made the Trash and Recycle Shows a great success with over 2,000 Winston and Marion County school kids reacting with smiles, laughter, and cheers to Steve’s re-cycling presentations.
