CANNON'S PRECEDENTS

These volumes present a comprehensive study of the precedents of the House from 1908 to 1936 by Clarence Cannon, Clerk at the Speaker’s Table. These documents supplement the earlier work by Asher C. Hinds published in 1907.

For example: "presiding officer" AND "in absence of clerk". Word roots can be searched using an asterisk (*) following the word stem.
