Question
If extrasolar giant gas planets are in the habitable zone around their star, and if they have moons, can they supoort complex life?
Yes, that is a reasonable expectation. Astrobiologists increasingly consider the big moons of giant planets to be potentially habitable, both in our solar system (for example, Europa and perhaps Titan) and for planets circling other stars. David Morrison
