WASHINGTON - The Commerce Department's National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) will host a workshop on April 3, 2001 to explore the impact of a requirement to obtain the consent of consumers to receive information electronically. WHEN: Tuesday, April 3, 2001
8:30am - 5:00pm

WHERE: Federal Trade Commission
600 Pennsylvania Avenue., NW, Washington, DC

Note: The April 3 workshop will be webcast. An email account has been set up for questions to raise with panelists during the workshop. Interested parties are being asked to submit their questions to esignmail@ntia.doc.gov. The account will expire at 5PM on April 3.
