NTIA TO HOLD PUBLIC MEETING ON THIRD GENERATION WIRELESS SERVICES

WASHINGTON - Gregory L. Rohde, Assistant Secretary for Communications and Information and NTIA administrator, will hold a government-industry meeting on Third Generation (3G) wireless services on January 17, 2001. The meeting will allow for status reports on the latest developments in the 3G process, including discussions on industry-led meetings.
