Are there grants available specifically for faith-based organizations?

Answer:

There is no grant money specifically set aside for faith-based providers. HHS’ Center for Faith Based and Community Initiatives (FBCI) leads the department's efforts to ensure that these faith-based and community organizations have equal access to federal grant programs. The Center's Web site is located at http://www.hhs.gov/fbci. From this site you can find listing of grant announcements available to faith-based and community organizations:

HHS discretionary grants are awarded competitively in response to program announcements and other requests for proposals or applications published by the Department in Grants.gov, the Federal Register, the HRSA Open Opportunities, or the NIH Funding Opportunities and Notices.
