Join your colleagues in Kansas City next month for the latest cutting-edge information on the metabolic syndrome, the constellation of coronary heart disease risks associated with abdominal obesity. The conference will feature a number of renowned national speakers. Other topics include putting the obesity clinical guidelines into practice, implementing community-based strategies to help curb the obesity epidemic, and preventing patient delays in seeking treatment for a heart attack. The conference is being held in conjunction with the exciting Kansas City launch of the Red Dress Collection , heart of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute's The Heart Truth campaign for women about heart disease. Transportation to see the Red Dress Collection is being arranged by the conference sponsors.
