NHLBI’s DCI Now Offers
Podcasts and Animated Graphics

The Diseases and Conditions Index (DCI) now has multimedia!  NHLBI’s DCI features podcasts and animations, in addition to still graphics, to enhance your learning experience.  See which topics offer podcasts, graphics, and animations below.

Listen to DCI Podcasts

Podcasts are files available in an audio format that you can download and listen to on personal computers or portable digital audio players.  The DCI is a Web-based health information index with a quick and easy way to get complete and dependable information about heart, lung, and blood diseases and sleep disorders.  Combining the DCI and podcasts is a great match!  Here are the topics available now with podcasts:

  • Heart Attack
  • Insomnia
  • Overweight and Obesity
