Welcome to the Y‑12 National Security Complex currently operated by B&W Y‑12. The prime contract (PDF) for management and operation of the Complex is maintained by Y‑12's Contracts & Special Initiatives department.

As part of the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Nuclear Weapons Complex, Y‑12 performs critical roles in strengthening national security and reducing the global threat from weapons of mass destruction. Details about these roles—Defense Programs, Nuclear Nonproliferation, Naval Reactors, and Complementary Work—are available under Missions.
