General Aviation and Commercial Division
The General Aviation and Commercial Division is responsible for:
- Being the aviation community's national focal point for general aviation issues
- Part 125 operations, including travel clubs
- Part 141 Pilot Schools
- Regulations and policy governing the certification, inspection, and surveillance of general aviation pilots and flight instructors
- Sport aviation
- The commercial operations of rotorcraft external load operators, agricultural operators, corporate operators, and industrial operators such as those involved in helicopter logging operations
