ExhibitsReclamation's museum collections have been and continue to be exhibited at several museums. Look below for an exhibit near you. Interior Museum Exhibit Reclamation opened a permanent exhibit, "Fifty Years of Reclamation Archaeology," at the Interior Museum in June 2004. The exhibit effectively highlights projects from each of Reclamation's five regions. It features stories of past cultures told through artifacts uncovered at six Western projects: Grand Coulee Dam in Washington State , the New Melones Dam in California , the Central Arizona Project and Glen Canyon Dam in Arizona , the Medicine Creek Reservoir in Nebraska , and the Jamestown
Reservoir in North Dakota . The museum property on display provides episodic glimpses into thousands of years of human activity. Read more about the exhibit and see elements of this exhibit at June 2004 News Release. The Lower Colorado Dam Office has created a photo gallery of historic and modern photographs of Hoover Dam. The photographs have been organized into four sections:
Also at the Hoover Dam Visitor Center is an exhibit entitled "Installation of the Arizona Generator Units 1936-1952" on the Arizona Balcony in the powerhouse. New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science On display is a T. Rex lower jaw from Elephant Butte Reservoir. Artifacts from the Glen Canyon Archaeological Project, on loan from the Museum of Northern Arizona, are on display in a temporary exhibit.
