Speaker Biographies

Dr. Alan Levy

Dr. Alan Levy is the Senior Scientist in the Consumer Studies Team at the Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition at FDA where he works on labeling, education and consumer communication issues. Prior to coming to FDA, he taught Social Psychology at Duke University and conducted public policy research for other government agencies. He is currently working on a number of food safety projects as well as dietary supplement labeling issues.
