Description
In response to claims that the Medicaid rebate program caused drug price increases to other Federal purchasers, the Department of Veterans Affairs Appropriations Act, enacted on October 28, 1991, provides that prices for drugs paid by or in contracts administered by DVA could not be used in the Medicaid drug rebate calculation from October 28, 1991 through June 30, 1992.
