Gutierrez Hails 47th Consecutive Month of Steady Job Growth
Chicago (Aug. 3)—U.S. Commerce Secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez highlighted the benefits of open markets during a meeting with Boeing employees and their suppliers in Chicago. He discussed the administration’s vision to pursue free trade agreements with Peru, Panama, Colombia and South Korea and the jobs they will create in the U.S, as well as the strong jobs growth in today's employment report that showed 92,000 new jobs were created in July.
