IBM POWER5+ supercomputer





IBM POWER5+ - SCHIRRA SUPERCOMPUTER

The IBM supercomputer is the first of multiple systems selected to evaluate next-generation technology to meet NASA's future supercomputing requirements. The system is named "Schirra" to honor the late astronaut Walter Schirra.
