Speaker Biographies

Lori H. French

Lori French is the Marketing and Program Coordinator for USDA, Food and Nutrition Service’s (FNS) Child Nutrition Division, Nutrition Promotion and Training Branch. In this capacity, she is responsible for managing and coordinating food safety, nutrition education, and training and technical assistance projects for national distribution to the Child Nutrition Programs including State Departments of Education and Health, schools, child care centers, and summer food service programs. During her 26 years with USDA, Ms. French has worked in two FNS regional offices, Dallas, Texas and Denver, Colorado, and since 1988, FNS’ headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. She has a M.S. in Nutrition from Colorado State University, Greeley and a B.A. in Home Economics from California State University, Long Beach.
