Life at Sea

The following photos offer an image of life on the RAINIER. The ship is usually at anchor at the working grounds, while the launches perform most of the survey operations. The ship itself acquires survey data in deeper water. She pulls into port every 10 to 21 days during the field season, depending on her schedule.
