Special notes for using this site ***
In
order to fill and print these forms using your PC, you must have
Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat Reader version 7.0 or
above! If you previously installed an older version
of Adobe Acrobat Reader, you must uninstall the previous
version to use the forms on this Website without
problems.
Viewing Hints: If
you right click on your Acrobat "magnifying glass" icon,
you can increase (as much as you need to) the size of a
form for easier viewing/filling on your computer screen
monitor.
Printing
Hints: If you have Acrobat configured as a web
browser plug-in, you can fill out and print the form
within your browser. If you print out a form
and it doesn't print completely, print again changing
the print settings to "fit to page." If
you are printing a legal size form, please be sure
to click on printer properties and change your paper
options for legal size paper and landscape orientation.
If
you have any trouble printing any of the forms, please
consult your organization's Help Desk Make sure you read "How
to Fill Out a Form." The FAQs and instructions
linked from this site are the result of an overall effort
by the DoC Electronic Forms Affinity Group to make available
to DoC employees CD electronic forms as PDF files.
Electronic
Signatures: Although Adobe Acrobat supports its
own plug-in and third party electronic signature Certificate
Authority software solutions, the forms on this web
site are not designed to implement digital signatures. When
DoC/NOAA policy is officially issued, the NOAA forms
maintained on this web site will be re-designed to
be in compliance with it.
The
Department's Electronic
Signature (ES)/Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Affinity
Group (AG) is tasked to make recommendations and
provide advice to the CIO Council and Bureau Administrative
Offices with respect to policy, procedures, standards,
and payoff as they relate to the use of electronic signature/PKI
throughout the Department. NOAA's Messaging Implementation
Team (MIT)/PKI Working Group, some of whose members share
membership with the DoC ES/PKI AG, are currently working
with the Department and at the NOAA level to accomplish
these goals.
We
recommend that you consult with your systems administrator
before installing any software on your PC. |
