The Bureau of Industry and Security, Nonproliferation and Export Control Cooperation (OIP) Technical Information Center (TIC) supports the Department's mission to build for the future and promote U.S. competitiveness in the global marketplace by enhancing both export growth opportunities and the effective enforcement of export controls. We work in cooperation with the Independent States of the former Soviet Union, the Baltic States, Central Europe and other participating countries.
The Technical Information Center (TIC) supports the OIP Team by providing a technical forum for participating countries to assist them in implementing and strengthening their own export control systems.
The TIC provides an interactive forum for the representatives from participating countries to explore export control options and select processes and procedures that are tailored to individual country requirements through technical training and instructional workshops and through the open exchange of ideas and the sharing of critical resources.
