NASDA
Our mission is to represent the state departments of agriculture in the development, implementation, and communication of sound public policy and programs which support and promote the American agricultural industry, while protecting consumers and the environment.
The NASDA Board has a verbal agreement with Stephen Haterius to join NASDA as executive director starting September 10. Terms are being worked out as of press time. He replaces Rick Kirchhoff, who resigned as chief executive officer after sixteen years. Kirchhoff's last day at NASDA is September 30.
