SHRC ARCHAEOLOGICAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE SEEKS COMMENTS

Image: Eyeballs  The Archaeological Resources Committee (Committee) of the State Historical Resources Commission (SHRC) is soliciting comments on the drafts of 5 position papers pertaining to the Conservation, Curation, Interpretation, and Protection of archaeological resources, and Standards & Guidelines for best practices. The SHRC is particularly interested in the comments of professional archaeologists working in California, California Indians, Local governments (cities, counties, and Certified Local Governments), and the California building industry. The comment period ends 31 October, 2008.
