One-count indictment was filed in U.S. District Court in Grand Rapids, Michigan, charging C.R. Equipment Sales, Inc. of Lansing, Michigan; Great Lakes Coach Sales, Inc. of Portage, Michigan; and McFadden Corporation of Grand Rapids, Michigan, with conspiring to fix prices, allocate customers and rig bids, in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act, on the sale of buses and bus bodies to public school districts in Michigan. The conspiracy began in the early 1970s and continued at least until December 31, 1988.

Also filed with the same court were three one-count informations charging Hoekstra Truck Equipment Co., Inc. of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Ride Equipment, Inc. of Holland, Michigan; and Wolverine Transportation, Inc. of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan with the same charge covered in the indictment. These companies waived their right to indictment and entered into agreements to plead guilty and cooperate with the Department in any prosecutions in this matter.

U.S. v. Medical Technologies, Inc.; Gordon N. Stowe and Associates, Inc.; and Robert C. Millier; James T. Schilling: Gary Tobias: Charles Thick" Clemen
Criminal No.: 93-CR139 (E.D. Wisc.)

One-count indictment was filed in U.S. District Court in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, charging Medical Technologies, Inc. of St. Louis Park, Minnesota; Gordon N. Stowe and Associates, Inc. of Wheeling, Illinois; Robert C. Millier, part-owner and president of Medical Technologies; James T. Schilling, part-owner and president of Stowe; Charles "Chick" Clemen, vice president and service manager of Stowe; and David Speidel, manager of Stowe's Milwaukee office, with conspiring to allocate territories and customers, in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act, for the sale and servicing of audiometric equipment in Iowa and Wisconsin. Audiometric equipment is used to test human hearing and also to perform other diagnostic functions.

One-count information was filed in Covington, Kentucky, charging H. Meyer Dairy Company of Cincinnati, Ohio, with conspiring to rig bids, in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act, for the supply of dairy products to public school districts in northern Kentucky and southwestern Ohio.
