Information Resources Self-Review Process Guide

The self-review process is designed to stimulate thought and the sharing of ideas that will yield assessments focused on measuring the contribution of Information Resources Management (IRM) to NASA's mission performance.

It is a means for assessing how well technologies, procedures, organizations, and initiatives meet internally developed best practices, with particular emphasis on those outlined as objectives in the NASA Information Resources Strategic Plan, which supports the NASA Strategic Plan.

The Center self-review reports were redesigned for the purpose of providing useful improvement information to each Center as well as contributing more effectively to the Annual Integrated Program Assessment (AIPA) for IRM. The AIPA will be used by senior management to report achievement of performance goals and identify needed improvement actions and Agency best practices.
