Purpose of the Hearing

On Thursday, April 10, 2008, at 10:00 a.m., in room 2167 of the Rayburn House Office Building, the Subcommittee on Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation met to receive a report from the Department of Homeland Security's Office of the Inspector Genreral (OIG) entitlted "Allision of the M/V COSCO BUSAN with the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge".  This report was completed pursuant to a request made by Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Subcommittee Chairman Elijah E. Cummings.
