Purpose of the Hearing

 On Thursday, June 19, 2008, at 10:00 a.m., in room 2167 of the Rayburn House Office Building, the Subcommittee on Economic Development, Public Buildings and Emergency Management held a hearing on the status of the recovery from Hurricane Katrina in the State of Mississippi. The hearing focused on disaster recovery programs being provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency ("FEMA") and on overall housing policy, rebuilding public infrastructure and the case management services being provided through FEMA.
