Locate stations by specifying one or more of the following query criteria.

NOTE: The maximum number of stations that can be retrieved in one selection is 100000.
If the criteria specified would retrieve more, only the station count will be returned. You may retrieve larger numbers of stations by making several smaller selections.

Step 1. Specify the Spatial Range:

To select the region of interest, do one of three things:

   - Enter values in the text fields below; or
   - Mouse-drag on the map and click "OK" to place values in the text boxes; or
   - Select an ocean basin using the radio buttons

Northernmost Latitude

Westernmost Longitude   Easternmost Longitude

Southernmost Latitude

Use custom area selected above by Latitude and Longitude; or select an ocean basin:
Atlantic Ocean Pacific Ocean Indian Ocean

Note: The Three Major Ocean Areas are as defined for GTSPP Scientific QC Editing

Step 2. Specify Date Range:

Select begin and end dates using the pull-down lists, or enter dates in the text areas.
The range of acceptable dates is from January 1, 1990 to present.
Examples of acceptable text date formats include:
    'February 20, 2002'   '20 Feb 2002'   '02/20/2002'   '2002 02 20'   '20020220'
If you wish to use the pull-down lists, leave the text areas blank. If there is a text entry, it will be used in preference to the pull-down list selection.

MONTH DAY YEAR      MM/DD/YYYY
BEGIN: / /
END: / /

Step 3. Specify Season Range:

In addition to the date range (above), you may also specify a range of days to define a season; for example, if you want to retrieve only winter data, you might select December 15 through March 14, or January 1 through March 31.
As with the date range, you may enter the begin and end dates for the season as text (month and day), which will be used instead of the pull-down selection if it is filled in.
To make no season selection, leave the default entry (Jan 01 to Dec 31).

MONTH   DAY      MM/DD
BEGIN: /
END: /

Step 4. Specify Data Mode:

Best Copy Real Time Delayed

Step 5. Specify Data Type(s):

Select one or more instrument or data source
(Hold down Control to select more than one)

Check here to specifically EXCLUDE all Argo data

Step 6. Specify A PLAT Code or Call Sign:

Enter either an optional 4-character PLAT Code or up to 8-character Call Sign
Leave one or both blank; Do not enter a value for both.
(Default, with both blank, returns all Platforms).

   PLAT:     CALL SIGN:

Step 7. Specify a Product:

Display the values selected in the form and the SQL, but do not query the database (For diagnostic use)
Display only the count of stations
Display a list of station (DBID) numbers
Retrieve data and display in HTML (Recommended only for small numbers of stations)
Prepare a data file for downloading

Submit this query form:

Warning: The time required to complete your search will depend on the complexity of the selection criteria as well as the size of the data you requested.
