Experience Highlights
1998 - Present Chief, Information Services Branch, Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory (GLERL). The Information Services Branch informs constituents of the lab's scientific products, services, and expertise and provides access to such resources. Constituents include the Great Lakes and coastal science communities, state and federal government agencies, state, national and international commissions, K-12 and higher educational institutions, professional scientific organizations, other non-government organizations (including the private sector), the media and the general public.
1994 - 1995 Program Analyst, NOAA Headquarters, Washington, DC - Served as liaison between NOAA's Research components and the Office of the NOAA Deputy Assistant Administrator who coordinates day-to-day agency operations and long-term planning.
1991 - 1993 NOAA Fellow, U.S. House of Representatives Merchant Marine and Fisheries Committee. Served on the staff of the Subcommittee on Oceanography, Great Lakes and the Outer Continental Shelf (January 1991- 1993) and on the Fisheries Management Subcommittee (January - June 1993). Provided scientific and technical support to Members of Congress and their staff in oversight and legislative activities pertaining to the NOAA mission.
