The Arbitrator denied a grievance contesting a 7-day suspension imposed on the grievant for being absent without leave (AWOL) from work for approximately two weeks. The Authority denied the exceptions noting that the Union failed to demonstrate that the award was contrary to law or regulation. Specifically, 5 C.F.R. § 630.1203(g).
