National Organizations That Offer Services to People With Cancer and Their Families
People with cancer and their families sometimes need assistance coping with the emotional as well as the practical aspects of their disease. Some of the national, nonprofit organizations that provide such services may be found by searching this National Organizations database.
The National Cancer Institute (NCI) provides this information to help people find the services they are seeking. Inclusion in our list of resources does not imply an endorsement by the NCI. Numerous organizations and facilities provide services to people with cancer and our database contains many, but not all of them. Patients’ doctors or health care team may have more suggestions, especially in one’s own community. We strongly recommend talking with a health care provider before making any decisions about health care.
To view the list of all organizations in Spanish, go to Organizaciones nacionales que brindan servicios a las personas con cáncer y a sus familias.
To search by Type of Cancer, highlight one or more cancer types. If you select "Cancer, any type" your search results will show organizations that provide general services for patients and do not target any specific type of cancer. If you do not see a specific type of cancer listed, try searching using the keyword box.

You may also search by keyword. Enter a word (or part of a word) in the keyword box.
To choose multiple types of cancer from this list, hold down the Ctrl key and click on items (for PC Users) or the Command key and click on items (for Mac Users).
Enter a word (or part of a word) in the keyword box. The search returns organizations that have an exact match.  Examples: child will find child, children, childhood, etc.; children will find children (but not child or childhood); nutr will find nutrition, nutritive, etc.
