CCDO Funding

NOTICE: Change in Funding Level

The Community Capacity Development Office will now offer awards under the CCDO FY 2009 Weed and Seed Communities Competitive Program Guide and Application Kit in an amount not to exceed $100,000. The match requirement remains twenty-five percent (25%) non-federal cash or in-kind.

Please note the complete application deadline to submit via Grants.gov has not changed. The complete application must be submitted in Grants.gov no later than Tuesday, September 9, 2008, at 11:59 pm Eastern Time.

Weed and Seed Communities Competitive applicants must apply for funding via Grants.gov. First-time users must first register before submitting their applications. Grants.gov requires applicants to complete a 3-step registration process that takes 3-5 business days or longer, so please plan accordingly. Please thoroughly review the instructions on the grants.gov website.

Existing Weed and Seed Continuation Sites will continue to use OJP's Grants Management System (GMS) to apply for continuation funding. For online assistance and step-by-step instructions, consult the GMS On-line Training Tool.

Review the specific funding guidelines for the appropriate application process.
