The Hospital Energy Alliance brings together leading hospitals and national associations in a strategic alliance designed to promote evidence-based information on successful strategies for integrating advanced technologies or processes, and to serve as a compelling voice on the collective demand for highly-efficient products and services.

To support hospitals in addressing challenging trends in healthcare and energy, the Department of Energy (DOE) has created a comprehensive initiative, EnergySmart Hospitals. Through this initiative and the Hospital Energy Alliance, DOE is providing the resources, tools, and strategies that our nation's hospitals must have to identify clear pathways to cost and energy savings through efficient and renewable energy technology applications for both new and existing facilities.
