B&W Y-12 Technical Exchange Meeting
During the B&W Y‑12 Technical Exchange Meeting, held April 8, 2008, field agents from the University of Tennessee (UT) Center for Industrial Services (CIS) heard presentations about Y‑12’s mission and capabilities and explored opportunities for partnering with Y‑12.
In the early 1990s, Y‑12’s Oak Ridge Center for Manufacturing Technology had successfully partnered with CIS, which helps Tennessee industries become more productive, more profitable and more competitive. “ We had about 120 Y‑12 projects a year,” said David Hall, CIS director.
Believing that a collaboration that good is worth rekindling, Gloria Mencer of the Socioeconomic Programs Office and Dennis Hough of the Business Development team brought about 20 CIS field agents to the Y‑12 National Security Complex. Selected presentations from the meeting are provided below in PDF format.- Overview of Y-12 Mission and Capabilities
