Reclamation offers technology transfer assistance for researchers, partners, grantees, and suppliers to:
- Develop and deploy solutions for Reclamation's power and water management
- Protect government-developed intellectual property and mature innovations into standard Reclamation applications.
- Work with private partners to help move innovations into marketplace
A Technology Transfer Liaison in Denver, Colorado, in the Office of Research, helps to:
- Inform – Promote the benefits and the process Reclamation wide
- Engage – Provide responsive, one-on-one support to the innovator
- Reward – Reward the innovators for their contributions and managers for their support
- Measure – Keep score, understand the driving economics, operate the TTL like a business
