| Description |
This contractor will operate the section 723 warehouse and develop a process to disseminate data to health services researchers studying ways to improve the quality and reduce the cost of care provided to chronically ill Medicare beneficiaries. Additionally this contract expands the sample of beneficiaries and data elements to be included in the data warehouse. This contract option will permit researchers to link, at the person level, Medicare claims with Part D drug event data. |

The contract has been modified to authorize the purchase of two server bundles and applicable Oracle licensing. It was modified to exercise Options I and II and was extended to September 2008. This additional equipment will house Part D drug event data. |
