Public Affairs and Communications (PA&C) plans, develops, and implements B&W Y‑12's external and internal communications efforts in support of the company's strategic objectives. Our key stakeholders include employees and retirees, business customers, the National Nuclear Security Administration, the Department of Energy, the media, the community and public officials.
PA&C provides employee internal communications, customer relations, emergency communications, news and information services, community relations and exhibits. Internally, PA&C serves Y‑12's 4500 employees with graphic, photography, video, videoconferencing, writing, editing, and publishing support. PA&C is responsible for such initiatives and products as BWXTymes and The Y‑12 Report, the Corporate gifts and grants program, press releases, Speakers Bureau, news events, and awards and recognition programs.
