 New AESPcLink Version 6.8 - Available April 28, 2008

 Effective April 28, 2008 an upgrade version of AESPcLink, Version 6.8
         will be available to be downloaded.

 AESPcLink Version 6.8 will contain the following new features:

 
         Inclusion of Various Pop-ups 

 Pop-ups will be added throughout various points to reinforce the fact 
         filers should not submit a Shipper's Export Declaration in conjunction 
         with the electronic filing of AESPcLink.  In addition, a watermark that 
         states "Do Not Submit To Customs" will be placed on all print versions 
         of the electronic export information in AESPcLink in order to reduce 
         duplicate reporting. 

 Amendment to the Kimberley Process Certificate Validation Process

 The editing procedure in AESPcLink will allow the License Number field 
         to be submitted "Blank" when License Code T12: Kimberley Process 
         Certificate (KPC) is selected for certain shipment scenarios.

 The shipment scenarios are:

 Shipments from the United States to Puerto Rico
         Shipments from Puerto Rico to the United States
         Shipments from the United States to the U.S. Virgin Islands 

 Updated BIS License Exceptions Reporting Requirements 

 The Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) will be required for 
         license exceptions reportable under the following License Codes.

C38-TSR	C46-AVS
         C41-RPL	C47-APR
         C42-GOV	C48-KMI
         C43-GFT	C49-TAPS
         C44-TSU	C50-ENC
         C45-BAG
       

To update your AESPcLink software to the latest 6.8 Version, please 
         go to the "Tools" Menu in AESPcLink and select "Update AESPcLink 
         Software" and follow the instructions provided.

Once the latest 6.8 Version is downloaded, please update your 
         AES Code Tables from the "Tools" Menu in AESPcLink in order to 
         fully utilize these new features.
